Our Story
Bowmanville Learning Centre was created in response to a growing gap in the Clarington region: families with children who needed more than a tutor, but couldn’t access timely clinical support. Bowmanville Learning Centre exists in the space between those worlds — offering evidence-based, psychologist-supervised programming for children and youth from JK through post-secondary.
OUR MANDATE
Every child’s program starts with who they are.
Unlike generic tutoring programs, Bowmanville Learning Centre creates individualized plans based on each child’s profile of learning strengths and needs. Programs are designed to enhance development at school and at home, and are monitored by a Registered Psychologist.
OUR AFFILIATION
Bowmanville Learning Centre is affiliated with Lifecare Centres and works in close partnership with Kanata Psychology and Kanata Learning Centre. All programs operate under the clinical oversight of Dr. Rebecca Moore, C.Psych.
